At Future Me, you and your child/ young person can explore a range of career options, ask any questions you have of Vision Australia’s Life Ready team, and learn about the life skills they’ll need to pursue their dream jobs.
Over the course of the day, you and your child/ young person will have the opportunity to engage in a range of age-appropriate activities, including:
participating in mock interviews with our employment consultants
trying out some blind sports with a Paralympian
exploring AI technologies and learn how they can provide independence
decorating a cake with Rolf, a talented pastry chef who is blind
meeting with career mentors who are at different stages of their careers
and so much more!
Plus, you’ll have the chance to find out about Vision Australia’s Life Ready program, graduate program, LEAP and Tertiary Ready program.
Younger children can enjoy story time, music and dress up and learn about all the various jobs people do.
