Do you want to tell the story of who you are and the experiences that shaped you through life?

Have you thought about chronicling the lessons you learnt through your experiences or how you can pass your wisdom onto those you love?

Then memoir writing might be for you.

Memoir writing is an opportunity to record your memories and leave a lasting legacy for your family and friends.

The Vision Australia Library is excited to help our members in their memoir writing journey. Our introductory programme is the perfect way to take your first steps towards writing your memoir.

Facilitated by Writers Victoria and held over six weeks, you’ll learn from an amazing selection of published authors, who will provide you with the tools and confidence to get your life experiences on paper.

Each author will focus on a different aspect of the writing process, bringing a unique perspective to every session.

Who is it for?

This programme is open to Vision Australia Library members aged 18+.

This is an introductory course for members who have not attended a similar course in the past.

Our remaining two sessions will be held Friday 4th October at 11.30am AEST and Friday 18th October at 11.30am at AEDT.

All sessions will be held over Zoom.
