If you love gripping crime fiction novels, join us In Conversation with one of Australia’s most talented crime writers.
About Candice Fox
Candice is the author of eleven crime novels, all of which have been short listed for an award, including three winners of Australia’s prestigious Ned Kelly Award from the Australian Crime Writers Association. In 2015, Candice began collaborating with James Patterson. Every one of their seven novels have been New York Times best sellers.
Candice is the daughter of a parole officer at one of Sydney’s biggest prisons and an enthusiastic foster-carer. She spent her childhood listening around corners to tales of violence, madness and evil from the police and childcare authorities who frequented her childhood home. Crime and gothic fiction writing provide Candice with an escape from the tragic and violent world she vicariously experienced.
A meticulous researcher, Candice has interviewed a serial killer on Death Row, been to prison three times (for work purposes) and while on honeymoon in the US took a road trip to famous crime scenes looking for clues. She has also dined with a former President of the United States, filmed a cameo role in her latest screen adaptation and, as a volunteer for WIRES, has rescued countless wild animals.
The Vision Australia Library has twelve audio books available from Candice, including five collaborations with James Patterson.
