Meet the 2025 Vision Australia Bursary recipients
New South Wales
Rosie is studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney. Rosie has received a Dynabook Tecra laptop, JAWS Home with Software Maintenance, an iPad Pro, an iPad Pencil Pro and an Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro.
Alexandra has enrolled to study a Bachelor of Communication – Journalism at the University of New England. Alexandra has been provided with a Dynabook Portégé laptop, Dragon Naturally Speaking Software, J-Say Software with Software Maintenance, a Logitech Signature Wireless Keyboard, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation, an Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad Air, a Blue Yeti USB Microphone Blackout Edition, Openbook Scanning and Reading Software and a laptop backpack.
Christine is studying a double degree at Macquarie University - Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Information Technology. Christine has received an Apple iPad Pro, an Apple Pencil, a Dynabook Tecra laptop, ZoomText Fusion Software with Software Maintenance and a 27-inch FreeSync monitor.
Ruby is studying a Bachelor of Music – Performance at the University of Sydney. Ruby has received JAWS Software with Software Maintenance, a Brailliant BI 40X Braille Display, REAPER Licence, and a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop.
Munazzah is enrolled in a Bachelor of Business at Western Sydney University. The bursary awarded Munazzah an iPad Air, a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop, ZoomText Magnifier/Reader with Software Maintenance, an Orion Talking Scientific Calculator, AirPods Pro, an Apple Pencil and an Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad.
Seth is studying a Bachelor of Contemporary Music at the University of Sydney. Seth has received JAWS Software with Software Maintenance, a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop and a Brailliant BI 40X Braille Display.
Chiara is enrolled in a Bachelor of Psychology at Macquarie University. The bursary awarded Chiara JAWS Software with Software Maintenance, a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop, an iPhone 16 Max and AirPods with Active Noise Cancellation.
Leni is studying a Bachelor of Interior Design at TAFE NSW. Leni’s bursary provided an iPad Air with Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro, a Lenovo Legion Pro laptop and a 27-inch monitor.
Clement is continuing his study for a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Australian National University. Clement has received an iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and Apple Magic Keyboard, Shokz OpenMove Wireless Bluetooth headphones, a Dell 27-inch monitor, a power bank and a scientific speaking calculator.
Maria has enrolled in a Bachelor of Psychology with Open Universities Australia. Maria’s bursary award provided an Apple iPhone Plus and an iPad Air with Magic Keyboard.
Maya is studying a Bachelor of Education at Macquarie University. Maya has received a MacBook Air, an iPhone 16 Plus and an iPad Air.
Raphael is enrolled in a Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor of Computing Science at the University of Wollongong. Billie is studying a Bachelor of Communication at Queensland University of Technology. Hayley has enrolled in a Diploma of Counselling at the Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors. Hayley has received a Dynabook Tecra laptop with a carry case, ZoomText Fusion with Software Maintenance, Microsoft 365 licence and JBL Wave Earbuds.
Ashlyne is enrolled in a Bachelor of Education (Primary Education) at Open Universities Australia.
