As you may be aware, the Victorian Government has announced COVID-19 restrictions for regional Victoria, effective from 11.59pm Wednesday, August 5.

You can find out exactly what this means for you on the Department of Health and Human Service’s (DHHS) COVID-19 website.

We understand this is a challenging time for everybody. These restrictions do mean some changes to how you access Vision Australia services, but we are committed to supporting the blind and low vision community through this time.

Accessing Vision Australia services

During this period, you can still access a wide range of Vision Australia services and products.

Face to face appointments are currently available, but are subject to strict COVID-19 screening processes. All Vision Australia services are also available via telehealth appointments.

Please call 1300 84 74 66 or email info@visionaustralia.org to arrange an appointment.

Our Vision Store locations are also currently open, but you will need to make an appointment to visit us by calling 1300 84 74 66.

Please note, that Vision Australia service providers and Vision Store staff are required to wear masks and face shields or safety goggles by the DHHS. We also ask that you wear a mask when attending a Vision Australia appointment or location and we thank you for your cooperation.
