Gardening guru Jane Edmanson has given members of the Telelink garden group all the tips and tricks to make their gardens that little bit greener.
Jane, a gardening author and presenter on ABC TV’s Gardening Australia, joined the Telelink gardening group for a chat and question and answer session on October 4.
The topic in question was the best mulches and fertilisers for a range of plants – a timely discussion just as spring began to bloom across Australia.
The keen Telelink gardeners also had the chance to share details about their gardens with Jane.
Following a question from Telelink participant Jan in Bendigo, Jane offered some fertilising advice to rose lovers.
She suggested they should water with Seasol, or use a more powerful agent such as Powerfeed or Troforte to get those roses blooming.
This was Jane’s second Telelink visit after a successful chat with the group in April this year.
