Blind people describe a loved one to a sculptor
This a lovely video from digital content makers Cut.com where three people who are blind describe a loved one to a sculptor. The sculptor then creates a clay figure-head of the person described.
During the three minute video the people who blind are asked questions about their loved one and also more general questions about what they miss or not miss seeing in the world.

Blind baseball announcer aspires to bring sports to fans with disabilities
Here is an article from the Chicago Tribune about baseball analyst Bryce Weiler who has been blind since birth.
Weiler dishes out statistics and stories in the pauses left by the play-by-play commentator, trying to give the audience a sense of what it feels like to be in the crowd.
However, he has yet to translate his talent and skill into full time employment which is common obstacle for people with disability when aiming to break into the sports business.

We are staying on the subject of sport….Australian blind tennis players ranked top five in the world
Three Australian blind tennis players are ranked in the top five players in the world following the sport’s inaugural international tournament in Spain.
In a brilliant result for blind tennis in Australia, Adam Fayad and Michael Fogarty are ranked numbers four and five respectively in the Men’s B3 category by the International Blind Tennis Association following their performance at the tournament, in which Adam made the semi finals.
Sandra Knight won the consolation draw in the women’s category and is now the world number five B3 category player, while Genamarie Richards won the best team player award at the event.
